The Chisago County Sheriff's Office Foundation and Chisago County Sheriff's Office working together for a safer Chisago County.
Individuals and businesses, who want to take a proactive approach to support public safety in Chisago County, may join the Chisago County Sheriff's Office Foundation, a Minnesota, non-profit, charitable organization created to enhance public safety and law enforcement in Chisago County. The mission of the foundation is to act as an independent and unique resource for the Chisago County Sheriff's Office by providing commitment and support to the community and complementing funding to maximize resources for overall operation and the promotion of educational outreach programs for the sheriff's office.
Despite rising costs and budget cuts, the objective of the Chisago County Sheriff's Office Foundation is to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Chisago County and to preserve the professional standards and safety of the employees of the sheriff's office through active citizen involvement. The foundation supports the mission and goals of the Chisago County Sheriff's Office and works to foster a collaborative effort to strengthen partnerships between the sheriff's office and the community. In addition, the foundations works to fill voids between governmental funding and the needs of the community by working to raise awareness of the sheriff's office, its functions, operations, and programs. Through private contributions, business donations, fundraising, and community partners, the Chisago County Sheriff's Office Foundation raises funds to provide overall support for the sheriff's office (for example, equipment and training to keep pace with rapid changing technology, programs, and special events), which are not provided in the annual budget.
Your support and membership of the Chisago County Sheriff's Office Foundation will be fascinating and exciting work that pays the dividends of knowing that you and your leadership can make a difference!
