Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a federally-funded nutrition and breastfeeding program that serves pregnant women, new mothers, babies and young children.
WIC participants also receive healthy foods, nutrition tips and advice, breastfeeding information and support, and referrals to health care and community services at no cost.
Increased Cash Value Benefits
Minnesota WIC is providing these increased cash value benefits for fruits and vegetables to women and children through January 2024:
You can now buy WIC foods with an eWIC card and the WIC app makes it convenient to check your balance, scan to find WIC foods and locate WIC stores “Using Your WIC Card” (youtube).
