Dennis Frandsen County Park, Rush City

This park is most popular for its excellent bank fishing and spectacular views from anywhere along the nearly 1 mile of shoreline. This park provides carry in access, a fishing pier, hiking trails, and a 9-hole disc golf course. A picnic shelter, large paved parking areas with hard surface paths, makes this an attractive site for your special events, family gatherings and company picnics. Winter activities include ice fishing and cross-country skiing.

117 acres on the north shore of West Rush Lake. Five miles west of Rush City on County Road 1, then two (2) miles west on County Road 2.

Boat Landing Access

  • DNR landings are available on both the east and west side of the lake.
  • There is no motor boat access at the park site. Boat launching is prohibited at this park.
